2. Template dan Widget.
Pilihlah template yang SEO friendly dan jangan terlalu banyak menggunakan widget. Ada yang berpendapat bahwa template yang menempatkan post artikel di bagian kiri dan widget lain-lainnya di sebelah kanan adalah yang paling SEO friendly. Masuk akal juga karena loading pertama dia langsung ke artikel, disini ada dua keuntungan dimana robot ( mesin pencari ) akan langsung menuju ke isi posting. Selain itu jika koneksi lambat, orang masih sempat membaca isi postingan tanpa menunggu keluarnya sidebar.
Penggunaan banyak widget dapat memperlambat loading page blog anda, untuk itu gunakanlah widget seefisien mungkin sehingga tujuan anda bisa tercapai. Banyak widget memang menarik, tapi bila tujuan anda adalah share artikel maka sebaiknya gunakanlah widget yang diperlukan saja sehingga pembaca merasa nyaman. Pemilihan warna menjadi salah satu faktor utama seorang pembaca kembali lagi ke halaman blog anda, banyangkan jika terlalu tajam warnanya tentu saja pembaca akan enggan berkunjung.
3. Isi artikel.
Ada banyak pendapat tentang bagaimana menyiasati isi artikel dalam suatu posting. Dengan memberi Bold atau Italic akan menarik perhatian robot untuk mengambil keyword tersebut, tidak ada salahnya mencoba. Ada tips lain dimana kita bisa bermain link, jadi tiap post yang kit a tulis mencantumkan link ke postingan yang lain. Cara ini di anggap jitu oleh sebagian blogger karena dengan memberikan anchor teks yang pas bisa membuat daya tarik tersendiri bagi robot, tapi hati-hati karena terlalu banyak link bisa menyebapkan masalah.
Bikinlah beberapa alur posting yang bersambung, sehingga pengunjung akan mendatangi kembali blog anda hanya untuk cerita bersambung ( to be continue ). Hal ini berlaku tidak hanya pada blogspot, para pengguna wordpress pun melakukan hal yang sama untuk masalah menyiasati artikel.
4. Blogwalking dan Backlink.
Tidak bisa di pungkiri kedua hal itu adalah yang di lakukan oleh kebanyakan blogger dan di cari oleh para blogger. Salah satu rutinitas blogger pemula seperti saya adalah blogwalking untuk mencari banyak-banyak teman sesama blogger dan juga gratisan backlink. Salah seorang blogger senior mengatakan bahwa backlink sangat mempengaruhi site kita di mata mesin pencari, apalagi jika backlink tersebut berasal dari blog yang mempunyai PR ( page rank ) tinggi.
Backlink yang kita peroleh dari blog berPR tinggi sedikit banyak akan menarik kalkulasi mesin pencari sehingga akan menambah kesempatan kita untuk mendapatkan PR juga. Saya pernah membaca tabel kalkulasi pengaruh backlink berdasarkan PR dan hal itu juga yang merangsang saya untuk mencari backlink sebanyak-banyaknya. Symbiosis mutualisme, jadi keduabelah pihak saling di untungkan.
5. Comments dan Dofollow.
Komentar yang di lontarkan pengunjung dapat menjadi daya tarik sendiri dalam suatu posting, dimana akan terjadi seperti perdebatan untuk masalah yang berhubungan dengan posting. Hubungan antara komentar dan SEO adalah ketika kita memberikan komentar di blog dofollow, karena kita secara otomatis mendapatkan backlink sebagai timbal balik komentar.

Kita sering melupakan hal ini, optimalisasi pada gambar dapat mempengaruhi pengunjung blog kita. Tidak bisa di pungkiri banyak visitor datang dari hasil pencarian gambar di mesin pencari. pamasangan alt="Contoh" pada tag gambar bisa mempengaruhi robot untuk membaca data tersebut. Pada wordpress jika kita upload gambar akan langsung tersedia kolom alt, namun kita perlu melakukannya manual pada blogspot.
Udah enam tips, walau tidak banyak namun kalau nulisnya ikhlas insyaallah bermanfaat. Dengan adanya saya menulis tips-tips seperti ini bukan berarti saya merasa hebat, tapi bagi saya di alam para blogger adalah kesempatan untuk belajar dan mengajar. Dapat berbagi adalah suatu hal yang indah.
